NAIROBI – Kenya’s newly elected President Uhuru Kenyatta today met his fiercest opposition leader in the just concluded March 4 general elections and outgoing prime minister Raila Odinga together with Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka at State House Nairobi.
There was no official communique from the meeting but sources told the Zambezian that President Uhuru Kenyatta had extended an olive branch to Odinga with the prospects of him being appointed Kenya’s special envoy to the United Nations. Nothing was said of former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka who was with Odinga at the meeting.
